AEA Joins HDAW Sponsor Group
The Automotive Electric Association (AEA) is an official sponsor of Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week. HDAW'11 was held at The Mirage in Las Vegas, Nevada, Monday, January 17 through Thursday, January 20, 2011.
The AEA was represented by 20 distributor companies and 18 supplier companies at HDAW'11. Members were able to take advantage of many beneficial education sessions, networking opportunities and an active trade show. Attendees commented that this new format was very informative, allowed them to broaden their business horizons and still allowed them to feel a part of the AEA family.

The segment committee meets twice a year to help plan the activities and events of the segment. Opportunities exist to become involved in the leadership of the association through serving as volunteers on segment committees. Segment leadership is reviewed every two years, and new candidates are nominated. To become involved with the segment committee, send a letter of interest and bio to the segment liaison, Freda Jones.
